The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a band of pizza-loving brothers like no other. Exposed to ‘mutagenic ooze’ as baby turtles, they were transformed into crime-fighting New York superheroes expert in the art of ninjutsu.

Energetic, inventive and enthusiastic, Michelangelo is a wisecracking party dude famous for exclaiming ‘cowabunga’. Naturally gifted but reluctant to train, he frustrates his brothers, who believe that with more focus and discipline he could really excel at ninjutsu.

The coin portrays Michelangelo in colour, busting through a brick wall with city buildings in the background. The design includes the inscription ‘MICHELANGELO’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin is part of a series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character coins scheduled for release. Each piece comes in a presentation box and shipper, and the boxes of the coins stack together to form a city scape scene!
