The design’s detailed background includes representations of a village, a pagoda, a river, a ‘moon’ bridge, traditional Chinese boats, mountains, and swirling clouds. Also included on the reverse is a ‘P125’ mintmark signifying The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary.

The obverse of the coin bears the Jody Clark Memorial Obverse of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II supplemented with the dates of her reign ‘1952-2022’, the weight and fineness, the 2024 year-date and the monetary denomination.
