About This Coin
Struck from 1oz of pure silver, this gold-plated Australian Kookaburra coin has been prepared exclusively for ANDA’s Money Expo in Sydney on 25 and 26 October 2025.
To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the iconic Australian Kookaburra, the coin’s reverse depicts a majestic kookaburra perched on a tree branch. A privy mark pays tribute to the original Australian Kookaburra coin design, with radiant lines symbolising a sun burst. The reverse includes the inscription ‘KOOKABURRA 35th ANNIVERSARY’, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, and the coin’s weight, purity and 2025 year-date.
This beautifully crafted coin is presented in a card featuring the dates of the 2025 Sydney Money Expo.
