Lachesis, the allotter, measures the thread, determining the length and events of an individual's life. Lastly, Atropos, the inflexible, cuts the thread, signifying the inevitable end that comes to all. Together, they ensured the natural order was maintained, uncontested even by Zeus himself, the king of the gods. In ancient Greece, the Moirai were revered as symbols of life's unpredictability and the power of fate over human affairs.

The design portrays the three ancient goddesses, each draped in a Chiton and holding a rope symbolising the thread of life. They are depicted within a serene Greek grove, enveloped by foliage and blossoms.
