About This Coin
The Royal Australian Mint supports the Australasian Numismatic Dealers Association ANDA though minting a range of exclusive limited mintage coins for the ANDA Money Expos.
Since the formation of the Australasian Numismatic Dealers AssociationΒ ANDA in Victoria in 1995, the Royal Australian Mint has provided itsΒ support, minting a series of limited edition collector and enthusiast coinsΒ for its regular Money Expo events.
Since 2015, the Royal Australian Mint in partnership with ANDA haveΒ released agreed on a $1 uncirculated coin in base metal, like theΒ standard $1 coin, with the addition of Privy Marks to distinguish themΒ from the millions of other $1 coins in circulation. This has become theΒ staple Mint product for ANDAβs Money Expos.Β Previous Privy Marks have included state floral, bird and animalΒ emblems.
In 2026 the Mint will release a 20c privymark coin with the abbreviated letters for each of the states the expos will be held.
