This 1oz Bi-Metal Proof Coin combines two precious metals in one design: a centrepiece struck from 1/2oz of 99.99% pure gold, set within an outer ring of 1/2oz of 99.99% pure silver, both in proof quality.

The gold centrepiece shows the silhouette of a Wedge-tailed eagle in the foreground with a bald eagle behind it, both gazing to the right. Named for its long, wedge-shaped tail, the Wedge-tailed eagle is Australia's largest bird of prey and one of the biggest eagles in the world, with a wingspan of up to 2.5 metres and legs feathered all the way to the feet.

The silver outer ring carries the inscription 'AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE', the 2026 year-date and The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark. The obverse carries the Dan Thorne effigy of King Charles III and the monetary denomination.
