A dingo howls from a rocky perch, a crocodile lifts its head from the water, two kangaroos drink at the riverbed, and a frilled-neck lizard rests on the rocks nearby. A wedge-tailed eagle climbs overhead with four more behind it in formation, while emus cross high country in the distance.

The colour is used selectively rather than across the whole scene. It picks out the flora in the foreground, Sturt's desert peas and poached egg daisies, along with the horizon line and the frilled-neck lizard, so the eye is led through the design rather than flooded by it.

The reverse also carries The Perth Mint's P mintmark and the 2026 year-date. Native flora runs around the outer rim.
