The Australian Olympic Team comprises approximately 450 of the nation's best sportsmen and women in the first ever Olympics to have equal number of men and women competitors. Held over 16 days in July and August, this will be the third Olympic Games hosted in Paris, only the second city to have hosted this many Games. Athletes will compete in 32 sports including basketball, cycling, surfing and sailing.
